Axxitec has been involved with the design of dredging installations for stationary and self-propelled cutter dredgers for various international dredging companies. For example the construction of spuds and ladder components have been done from design concept to complete detail engineering which was integrated into the ships structure.

The scope of work included the design of heavy bearing-constructions, i.e the ladder trunnion points and the lifting cable sheaves. Also included are study thesis and concept calculations, arrangement of the engine-room, preparation of the cast iron drawings and the mounting arrangement of various components.
